After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design I became part of the Coach Re(loved) Apprenticeship Program in the New Jersey Workshop. In this one-year apprenticeship program, I learned Coach's leather craftsmanship skills applied to the Re(loved) and repair products. Some of these are cutting leather, pattern making, machine sewing, hand sewing,  splitting, skiving, gluing, installing hardware, clicking with dies, edge painting, embossing, and very importantly, design. All of these led to an understanding and training of excellence in how to transform Coach products into new reimagined goods as part of our circular future.
